The online security of the Spot TV video management and communication platform is our highest priority. We will always strive to deliver a comprehensive, high-performance online viewing solution with an acute focus on keeping our customers’ data safe, their interactions secure, and their businesses protected.
Vulnerability Management
The Spot TV Media Platform 5.0 and its supporting content delivery network are frequently reviewed for potentially harmful vulnerabilities. We use enterprise-class security solutions and custom in-house monitoring tools to identify, analyze, and swiftly mitigate any potential weaknesses. We employ a number of third-party, qualified security tools to regularly scan our platform and perform continuous analysis of our codebase. We maintain an application security team to test and remediate any discovered or potential issues.
Access Control
Username and password access is aligned with a combination of security algorithms including IP monitoring, Dynamic IP Restrictions, ‘Use-Once’ Publishing point keys, among other undisclosed integrations. Our security architecture ensures isolation of customer data, stream source data, relay points and edge points.
Physical Security
Broadcasting servers are hosted at Tier III, SSAE-16, or ISO 27001 compliant facilities. Our facilities feature 24-hour manned security, biometric access control, video surveillance, and physical locks. The sub-location facilities are powered by redundant fail over systems, each with UPS and backup generators. All systems, networked devices, and circuits are constantly monitored by both Spot TV and the co-location providers.

A safer foundation – Spot TV is built upon the latest and most secure Windows .NET infrastructure by only in-house developers and American partner engineers. No out-sourced developers and No open source software!
Exceeding Compliance
As of 2015, the industry standard for minimum encryption support was raised from SHA128 to SHA256 bit, a standard deployed by Spot TV for more than 5 years. Depending upon the capabilities of our end user, the new Spot TV Media Platform 5.0 Authentication can support up to 512bit encryption using the latest Windows encryption ciphers!
Webcasting Release
Provided to all partner locations for each enrolled parent/guardian is Spot TV’s webcasting release form. Parents’ consent to the video webcasting program and agree that the all live or recording footage is the sole property of the partner location and any attempt to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, or create derivatives of video content is unlawful.
Privacy
Our Rights Management Agreement, Intellectual Property Rights, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service must be agreed to by all members registered within our community providing strict guidelines and legal obligations protecting user data, viewer privileges and content provider media rights.
Online Viewing Protection
Spot TV owns all right, title and interest in and to the Service, including without limitation to all intellectual property rights (the ” Spot TV Rights”), and such Spot TV Rights are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. Accordingly, users agree that they will not copy, reproduce, alter, modify, or create derivative works from the Content and Service. Users understand that unauthorized recording, duplication, or distribution of this copyrighted work is illegal. Copyrighted work includes all web streaming and video/audio recordings. Legal action can be taken against non-compliant users by Spot TV or any specific Customers, with authorization by Spot TV, who are or can be effected by such copy right infringement. Criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain, may be investigated by the FBI and is punishable by up to five years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.00. End Users also agree that they will not use any robot, spider, other automated device, or manual process to monitor or copy any content from the Service.
